2010 STORAGE, DRYING, & DISCOUNT SCHEDULE

                               

CORN

STORAGE

     Rates are 17 cents per bushel for 90 days (from average day of deposit) and 1/10 cent per bu. each day thereafter.

 

DELAYED PRICE

 

     Rates are 16 cents per bushel for 90 days (from average day of deposit) and 1/10 cent per bu. each day thereafter.

 

DRYING & SHRINK CHARGES

 

     Drying charges are 3.5 cents per bushel per point of moisture removed down to 14.0%.  Grain/water shrinkage is 1.40%  per point of moisture removed. (Program corn, whether sold or stored, is figured by the “dry and shrink” method. However, sold corn is only shrunk down to 15.0% .)

 

REGULAR CORN DISCOUNT CHARGES

(Moisture discounts can change quickly depending on grain prices and other market factors)

 

Moisture    -  5.0 cents each ½% over 15.0% and up FOR REGULAR CORN

 

Test Wt.        1 cent each pound or fraction of a pound below 54 pounds to 50 pounds

                      2 cents each pound or fraction of a pound below 50

 

F.M.              1 cent each point or fraction of a point over 3% 5

                      2 cents 5% to 8%

                      3 cents 8%  on up.

Damage        3 cent each point or fraction of a point over 5% to 7%

                      4 cents each point or fraction of point from 7.1 to 50%

                      Above 50% subject to rejection

Heat Dmg  -  .3% to .5%   = 2 cents

                      .6% to 8%    = 4 cents

STORAGE

     Rates are 18 cents per bushel for 90 days (from average day of deposit) and 1/10 cent per bu. each day thereafter.

     Rates are 17 cents per bushel for 90 days (from average day of deposit) and 1/10 cent per bu. each day thereafter.

 

DRYING & SHRINK CHARGES

     Rates are 5 cents a point down to 13.0% moisture, and grain/water shrink is 1.4% per point of moisture removed down to 13.0%.

REGULAR AND PROGRAM SOYBEAN DISCOUNTS

Moisture                             10 cents per half point over 13.0%

Test Wt                               1 cent per pound or fraction of a pound below 54 pounds to 50

               2 cents per pound or fraction of a pound below 50

 

Damage                               2 cents a point or fraction of a point over 2%

 

F.M.                                    Any amount over 1% subtracted from the net weight

Splits                                   ¼ cent each 5% over 20%

Heat Dmg                            Same as corn

Heating or Sour                   10 cents each

Weevily or Musty                5 cents each

SBOC (beans  other Colors)   1 cent per  point over 1%
